Simply put, the companionway boards on my boat are dead. They've totally delaminated and are flaking all over the place. I'm tempted to replace them with lexan to let light in, but might prefer a more authentic approach with teak.

Any advice?

Cheers,

Mike,
My P31 II uses smoked lexan. I bought the boat 5 years ago and thought they were original. They look good. The only problem that I have with Lexan is that when it gets real hot, they have a tendency of expanding and jaming slightly.
