I was attempting to pump out my holding tank today. However, we could only get it to about 1/3 empty. The hose that carries the waste is compressed at the bend around the top of the tank. There was no problem with air as we had the top of the tank off during pumping. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue. If so, what did you do to solve it?

I installed a macerator pump! Now I can easily empty the tank when offshore.
