Don,
I had the same problem last year and searched all over for metal rub rail. I ended up replacing the whole thing with plastic rub rails similar to the 33-2. After I finished, a guy posted on the pearson website that said he bought the last of the metal rail from the factory and has some for sale.

Here is his address dwaindumas@msn.com
Hope it works out. If it does not I can help you with an alternative.

I am the owner of Paradigm Hull # 159. Paradigm's hull and hull to deck joint took a scrubbing from hurricane Ike. I am going to have to replace rubrail and that stupid Aluminum extrusion as well as some toe rails. I have emailed dwainedumas@msn.com but am not optimistic of him still having any. I have yet to contact my insurance company untill I get more info.
I was wondering if you could suggest what it would cost me for a yard to replace the rub rails with the ones used on the 33-2. I understand this involves removing about one inch of the hull to deck joint to make it fit.

Sincerely E.A. "bucky" Feiner
